HIGHLIGHTS.

Industrial Rustic Chic

ABOUT.

To achieve this look architect Rou Zuckerman designed a modern chic-rustic space featuring a state-of-the-art tray ceiling using veneered white oak wood with hidden controlled LED profiles and a four set of can-less recessed lights for the center lounge bay plus three rustic veneered white oak beams for the first bay that holds the play area.

The use of this space was carefully thought for all of their family members.

The open concept allowed us to designate areas to play table games and to have fun in a multi game arcade console as well as lounge and relax in the center entertainment bay.

The center bay fits a dry bar with luxury leathered natural stone countertops and a custom made design in the lower body of the bar that matches the accent wall done in different angles using slim wooden profiles. All baseboards and trim in the accent wall are painted in the same shade of color but with different sheen.

The entertainment center has a luxury marble stone artisan hand-made fireplace that fits an electric fireplace and a 75” TV, on the sides it holds two minimalistic built-ins shelves to showcase artwork, decor & sentimental items. Each shelve with its dedicated LED light.

Underneath the stairs we designed a simple wine cellar sealed with a floor to ceiling triangular tempered glass cut to size, the wine cellar holds up to 28 wine bottles; a small dry bar with a wine fridge in the base and three veneered white oak shelves in the top, a maxi size bar cabinet with brushed brass hardware with a luxury leathered natural stone countertop in a light neutral tone complete the underneath stairs look. The use of the space was maximized.

A modern and sleek half bath and a small hidden hallway takes you to the industrial inspired gym that counts with a personal sauna box and workout equipment . The gym was painted in Gulfstream, giving us a totally different vibe that evokes high energy; using a shade of blue that will visually keep the space feeling cool. For many, blue can elicit a feeling of calm, composure or concentration, which is great for focusing on fitness. Pairing it with a Caviar spray painted black ceiling showcasing the home’s original service piping and serving us a complete and simple industrial inspired look.

The flooring was selected in Barkley, a modern distressed light neutral tone with wide planks and dark neutral seams that evokes a modern farmhouse. The stairs that take you to the main level are carefully curated using a Batique Crushed Pebble designer carpet runner, distressed Barkley flooring in the steps and a dark neutral tone in the risers that matches the accent wall.

To light up the room we used can-less recessed lights in the entertainment and playing bays as well as in the hallways leading you to the entertainment center, wine cellar & gym.

In our color palette we utilized Drift of Mist for the walls, Anonymous for the bar base, accent walls & risers, Gulfstream for the gym walls & Caviar for the gym ceilings all by Sherwin Williams.

This finished space gives you comfort vibes while evoking a simple rustic luxury character with a well thought aesthetic.
